BACKGROUND:

Northwest Hardwoods is a world-class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the furniture, cabinet, molding and millwork industries.  There is an excellent opportunity for an Analyst as part of the Corporate Supply Chain organization.  While this role will focus on Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP), it will have exposure to all Supply Chain operations.  Supply Chain is responsible for the disciplines of Procurement, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Customer Service, Transportation, Warehousing and S&OP.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Over the road truck driver who is home weekends and holidays. We are looking for a safe courteous driver. Our company makes safety our number one priority, which is reflected in our impeccable safety record. We maintain our entire fleet. We pay every two weeks either by check or direct deposit.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Class A driver license in good standing (CDL)

DOT Physical

No serious tickets or accidents in the last 5 years

No DWI/DUI in last 10 years

 

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Conduct daily inspections at the start and end of shift and report problems or damage.

Observe mechanical issues and report immediately

Complete a daily truck log and submit paperwork weekly.

Manage routes and proceed the most efficient way possible

Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business

Comply with all DOT and in house rules and regulations

Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador with clients and the public
