Soft Maple – Superior White

Our highest yielding grade,  pulled specifically for white color.  Yielding at a minimum 83-1/3%  clear face cuttings and 66 2/3% on the back.  It is a minimum of 100% sapwood  in the cuttings on the best face and averages 80% sapwood on the reverse face.  Ideal for applications requiring long, wide clear-face cuttings or multiple rips and chops.   Minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 7’ or 4” x 5’.

 

We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
