Hemlock – Special Frame

A grade designed for upholstery frame construction, it yields a minimum of 33-1/3% structurally sound cuttings. Selective ripping will yield a balanced number of long rails and shorter parts to construct a normal mix of sofa and chair frames. Lengths are 5’ and longer, widths are 4” and wider.

We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).

- rustic/knotty applications.
