Cherry – Cabinet Red

This grade is designed for the cabinet door industry and pulled specifically for red color.  Yielding a minimum of 66-2/3%  clear  face cuttings with minimum cutting sizes of 3” x 3’ or 4” x 2’.   Each board has minimum of 90% heartwood in the cuttings on the best face and 50% heartwood on the reverse face . Excessive gum pockets, pin knots, sapwood or extreme color variation on either face are removed.

 

We grade after drying and surfacing, and against all natural drying or surfacing defects (pin knot no defect).
