We operate manufacturing facilities through out the United States.  We have an immediate opening for a truck driver.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Transport loads to and from mills and customers
  • Document log work and rest, fuel and toll periods with ELD device
  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
  • Maintain on-time deliveries and pick-ups at mills and/or customer facilities
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and point out safety and maintenance issues
  • Comply with current DOT and Northwest Hardwoods policies and safety practices

 

Requirements:

  • Valid class A driver’s license
  • Knowledge of driving rules and regulations with no recent violations
  • Ability to adapt and handle unexpected situations such as traffic and inclement weather
  • Must submit to and pass a background and drug test

We are seeking an experienced industrial wood products Inside Sales Representative for the Northwest Region. This is a full-time position that reports to the Region Sales Manager.

 

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for supporting our fast-paced sales organization in customer service, order entry, product replenishment activities, development of sales promotions, etc.
  • Assist customers with telephone sales or service inquiries and provide sales and marketing communication with other sales associates, customers and vendors.
  • Contribute to the sales efforts by executing program sales, Electronic Data Interchange order entry and special order processing, managing purchasing transactions, and managing our special Vendor Managed Inventory process.
  • Excellent P.C. skills are required to develop and generate sales and inventory reports and support regional inventory reconciliation.
  • In the process of performing all these functions, the successful candidate will learn all aspects of the business.

 

Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or, a closely related field.
  • Strong interest in a sales career and some sales experience preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Northwest Hardwoods, Inc is looking for a Journeyman Industrial Electrician in Garibaldi, OR. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

The successful candidate will also have a good eye for detail and can handle stressful situations in a positive manner.

The plant maintenance electricians primary responsibility is to ensure that all electrical apparatus remains at a fully functional capacity. Must troubleshoot, maintain, p.m. and make all repairs necessary for the safe, efficient operations of the mill during the assigned shift, including but not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment including PLCs
  • Generate programming logic (PLC 5, SLC 500 & RS Logix)
  • Installation of equipment
  • Installation of conduit
  • Equipment includes a merchandising line, double-cut band mills, trimmers, edgers, pallet line, dry kilns, and an abrasive sander.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with NEC code, 24 volt ac/dc through 2300 volt ac three phase, frequency drives & PLC logic. Sawmill experience is a plus.
